        <title type="html">German Interplast scheduled for surgical operations again</title>

                <p>The German Interplast team with 12 doctors is scheduled to arrive in December 2007 to conduct free surgical operations on cleft lips and pallat, menigoncelis and burn cases. </p><p>Since 1996 over 4000 Myanmar patients alone are estimated to have been operated through the joint efforts of German Interplast with Bagan Hotel's support to the teams in many ways.</p>

                <p>As a community development programme since four years, during the Low Season May to July, Bagan Hotel has been arranging international language classes (French, German, Spanish, English) with foreign teachers for the hotel staff but also more importantly for anyone from Bagan &amp; Popa Region. The courses are available free of charge, and the costs are borne by Bagan Hotel.</p><p>The programmes were developed by Professor Victor Buga (USA, LA), who since then spends his annual leave at Bagan and leads all courses and activities as such.<br /><br />Similar courses are also provided for Computer, Internet, HIV - AIDS seminars, which support the Bagan region with many other health projects through German doctor teams.</p>
