Bagan Dinner Show
Health & Beauty Treatment Night Bazaar - Bagan The Bagan Hotel is set in a stunning location with fantastic river views across the Ayeyarwady River (Irrawaddy). Its peaceful and tranquil setting is a truly unforgettable experience. With the Gawdawpalin Temple towering over on one side and the river front on the other, this beautiful hotel is situated in the heart of Old Bagan, which is host to one of the most interesting cultural heritage sites in Myanmar; and indeed of the world.
Thousands of ancient pagodas built between 11th and 16th centuries spread across rust coloured planes flanked by the meandering Ayeyarwady River await discovery by the modern traveller. The hotel is surrounded by pagodas, and is only minutes away from the archeological museum and all the famous sites in Bagan. |
Having two ancient pagodas in its lush tropical garden, the hotel's unique architecture remains loyal to authentic Myanmar culture and ancient Bagan tradition. Single storey bungalow style buildings with dark teak wood exteriors and inlaid sculptures of mythical figures are interconnected with archways of tropical plants and trees. All rooms are tastefully decorated in teak wood from flooring to wall panelling and furnished with every comfort for the discerning traveller. Accommodation for disabled guests with specially configured bathrooms and wheelchair access is also available.
The Bagan Hotel is managed by an experienced German hotel manager Oliver Esser Soe Thet, who is well known in Southeast Asia (opened already 6 Hotels in Myanmar since 1995 and took over Bagan Hotel Management in 2004) and also an award winning European Executive Chef, leading the Myanmar Chef's Association for many years as President. Established in 1996, the Myanmar Chef's Association is a full member of the World Association of Chefs Societies. With service and hospitality second to none, under the guidance of the Myanmar chef Bo Nyein, Myanmar, Thai, Chinese and international fusion cuisine are offered in the company of Traditional Dinner Shows in the Pagoda Garden. |
